[The room is dark but there's telltale hints of gaslight in the background. Lauri's room, but possibly not. Nothing really adds up---it's almost too clean to be his room. He himself looks kind of crazy, hair all askew and eyes are wide and pupils highly dilated.]

I have found something new and wonderful from the land of turbans! I am not sure what it is to be called, Papa brought it back and delivered it at my doorstep, and I will share it all with you. I do think this for the cooking championship will be good. I am awake!
